I was born at home in the woodlands of North Wales, in a little old cottage. I have always loved nature and wildlife, growing up with an array of animals around me from rabbits to stick insects, hairy ponies, dogs, cats and farm animals. I was never without art materials as a child, and would constantly be drawing away.

I have a BA(Hons) in Illustration and Graphics Design from Liverpool John Moores Art School.

I moved to London where I ended up working within the world of interiors and homeware, which inspires my work now. My illustration has always offered a bit of an escapism from the big city. I now live near Epping Forest with my husband, daughter and two fluffy forest cats Thistle and Fenrir. We live in a witchy cottage almost made entirely of wood, stuffed to the brim with antiques, taxidermy, art and books.
